Inspired by the apple arcade game "Bleak Sword", by @more8bit, this is the conceptualization and prototyping of a hypothetical sequel, with a ranged based combat system.

The demo consists of an arena level where you will have to face infinite waves of enemies, try to kill as many as possible while you are alive.

Controls (using right mouse button for all actions):

Move: click + drag towards the desired direction.

Shield: single click.

Light attack: click and brief hold + drag towards your target (Performing a light attack will automatically make your character fall back in the opposite direction you aimed for).

Spell (Pressure): click and hold until the casting interface pops up + while holding, draw the pattern you see in the top left corner of the screen, connecting the points + release.

A correctly done spell will trigger an AoE attack that will cause massive damage to multiple enemies while failing the pattern will close the casting interface.

Indications:

Every action, except for "move", will cost mana (white bar on the top left corner of the screen). Depleting your mana bar will result in your character falling down and getting staggered. If you get staggered on the "Bleak Mud" (purple zone) you will get hit and lose health (red bar on the top left corner of the screen).

Getting hit by enemies will also drop your health and, if it gets depleted, you will lose the game.

A successful parry with the shield will restore some mana while making you immune to incoming hits.
